I have had a long and varied career and marketing has been an integral part of every role. I've worked in academia, been Head of Organisational Development in the NHS, served time as an organisational consultant / coach in both public and private sectors, have established several companies including charitable price comparison site www.CareandCompare.com, am a published author of non-fiction and fiction, and am a professional therapist. When I'm not working you will find me with my horses, dogs, family, reading or out in the countryside somewhere.
Shona Patel - Junior Trainee
I have been with the company for three years on a part-time basis. Working in the company has allowed me to improve my knowledge of accounting and overall office proceedures. Working here is where my interest in accounting began, and it has inspired me to go to university to study Accounting and Finance.
Nicola Tilley FCCA - Director
I have over 16 years experience in accountancy, becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001, starting as a junior and progressing to Head of Corporate Finance & Management Reporting for a large Cardiff practice. In 2012 I set up my own accountancy practice that went from strength to strength each year, and this has now been brought into Peter Price Accountants. I am an extremely resourceful and excellent problem solver; I believe passionately in client service, and being adaptable to suit each individual client's needs. Throughout my career, building client relations and being open and supportive to clients' requirements has always been a core value.
Katie Pask - Client Manager
I started working for the firm in 2009 whilst studying A levels and have progressed to Client Manager with only two exams to sit before becoming a fully Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, studying at the University of South Wales. I am responsible for a large number of varied clients that keeps me interested and excited about my job in that no two days are the same. I enjoy finding solutions for clients and helping support their businesses on a day-to-day basis. I enjoy learning new things and I especially take great interest in anything new regarding tax! When I’m not in work I love spending time with my family, especially my son who was born in 2015.
Hazel Davis - Business Support Manager
I began working for Peter Price as an Accounts Clerk in 1985. I later took over managing VAT, Payroll duties and Reception. I enjoy the work as it brings me into our local community and I count many of our Clients as friends and am happy to help them with whatever query they may have. I am now looking forward to new challenges and a more varied workload involving new procedures and the latest way of integrating traditional accountancy practice with new technologies. When not in work I am kept busy by my three daughters, two grandsons and three cocker spaniels. I also enjoy gardening, art and needlework.
